ABOUT THE ROLE


This role works within a dynamic and unique agile environment. As a Security Analyst you will be hands-on in providing tailored guidance and solutions to application or service owners on effective remediation and assessment of the risk across Macquarie’s systems.

TALENT SOUGHT


We are seeking a motivated and driven individual who has a passion for detail and risk management, specifically towards compliance and/or security related activities.


Ideally you will have:

  • a learning mindset – ability to grasp new concepts and adopt new cyber security tools

  • a positive can-do attitude in using our existing cyber security tools such as Tenable, Fortify, Blackduck and Aqua

  • the ability to troubleshoot scanning issues

  • the capability to take ownership of customer requests and ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled

  • an eye for detail and enjoy following processes and procedures

  • skills in problem-solving and critical thinking

  • the ability to plan work and accomplish tasks within given timeframes

  • sound communication skills.

Note: an IT qualification is desirable for this role but not essential.


REQUIREMENTS


Please note that for this role you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older

  • have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, Autistic Disorder or PDD-NOS

  • have the ability to successfully complete employment screening checks (Global Sanction Search, Bankruptcy, Credit, Criminal History, Education qualifications, Entitlement to work, Identity, Financial Regulatory and Reference checks).
